HER, Health & Entertainment Radio, is a radio program on RaZo (Radio Zuid-Oost), that provides information for undocumented people and for those who know them. It's an infotainment program, provided by the World House, every thursday evening on 103.8 (cable) or 105.2 (fm). And on http://www.salto.nl/streamplayer/radio/razo_live.asp (livestream), from 6 till 8 pm. Master Blayz is the sound engineer and co-presenter with Cor Ofman. Often there are some guests in the studio, such as a doctor from Doctors of the World, or a singer such as Junior Barrie, who give some extra kick to the program. People can also call to the studio (020 7371619) to react on the given information.

Undocumented people do not always know that they have some basic rights. They have, for example, the right to get access to (emergency) medical treatment: all sorts of medical care that a general practitioner would give to any patient with a health insurance. People without a residence permit can't get a health insurance, as they have no BSN (a Civilian's Service Numer). They should get access to a general practitioner's practice to be seen by a doctor. At the most they have to pay 20 percent of the fee; the rest can be declared by a special arrangement with CvZ (a board of all health insurance companies).

They can also get access to free medication if they come to a pharmacist with the prescription from a doctor. There are six pharmacists who have an arrangement with CvZ to give medication for free, if the undocumented person has not enough income to pay for it. This CvZ-arrangement could be described as a solidarity fund for the poor. It might be true that in many African countries one person only will get treatment after payment, and that many people die at the doorstep of a hospital, but in The Netherlands every sick persoon should get help in case of emergency. And only a doctor can decide what an emergency is. More information one can find at the website of the World House: http://wereldhuis.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/Paspoort_Engels_wh.pdf.
